Question: My husband started getting into golf by going to the driving ranges. He wants a full golf club set for christmas but I dont know which brand is the best. I see alot of name brands but im just so confused. Some are hybrid, others are graphite. I dont know whichs ones better. Please let me know what is the best brand of golf clubs out there. Thanks.

I would love to get him a golf bag and a gift certificate so he can swing a few of them but I just dont know how much to put in the card, and there are some on ebay that come all together. I know that if you buy a club at a time, its going to be more right? I dont know. Im not familiar with this sport. Help!

Best Answer: The best thing to do is to go to Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy’s web site to look at clubs and get an idea for prices. Good brands include Nike, Callaway, Cobra, Adams, Ping and others.

I would recommend either Cobra or Adams, they are very high quality but tend to be a bit less expensive. They are also very forgiving clubs for beginning golfers.

You can also get an idea as to how much to spend on a golf bag, don’t skimp here.

Then, get him a gift card for either Golf Galaxy or Golfsmith so that he can go there and be fitted for his clubs and be able to do a hands-on comparison of bags.
